The first weekend in May, we flew to Florida to visit with our nephew, his wife, and their new baby. Caleb was 7 weeks old. He’s the first grandchild on Scuba Man’s side of the family, so it’s a pretty big deal for us. I also got to meet Bailey for the first time. She’s one of the sweetest dogs ever.
It was a great weekend. We hadn’t seen Jeremey and Melony, or any of the family, in at least 2 years. I was so happy to see them and meet Caleb. Scuba Man’s sister and our niece drove up from Tampa to spend the weekend, which was wonderful. The whole family, except for Ashley’s main squeeze, was there.
I really enjoyed getting to spend time with Melony. We’ve never really spent time alone together, so I’ve never really gotten to know her. I knew by the changes I have seen in Jeremey in the past few years, that she was so good for him. But I never realized what a beautiful person she is.
Rarely do you meet people who are full of such goodness. She is such a good person. She’s a good wife, a good social worker, and a wonderful mom. Just sitting and talking with her was a pleasure. We had plenty of time to do that while we were there, and I feel very blessed for that.
I’m looking forward to the next time we can visit!

Love that last picture!!!
Me too. Bailey sorta reminds me of Tandy.
How adorable! That last picture is so cute!
Caleb is so tolerant of Bailey. She gives him puppy kisses and he just takes it in stride. His big sister loves him!
